Scary nails

Halloween is all about looking as scary as possible. Of course you need scary make-up and a costume, but the details matter too. There are lots of options for your nails, which aren’t that difficult to create. Here are pictures you can use as a reference and I’ll explain how to recreate them in a few steps.

1. Paint your nails with a base coat and then with orange nail polish

2. Paint the tips of your nails black

3. Make a few curvy lines (with black nail polish) from the the black to the top of your nail

4. Connect the black lines with wavy vertical lines (black nail polish)

Ps: It doesn’t matter if the lines don’t look perfect, a spiderweb isn’t either 🙂

1. Use white nail polish to make a few stripes across your nails (don’t cover the nail completely)

2. Begin at the left/right side of your nail and paint a horizontal line with black nail polish

3. Make a circle that doesn’t close completely in the middle

4. Make another circle attached to it (also don’t close it completely so they fit together)

5. Make another horizontal black line

6. Fill the circles with white nails polish and paint a black dot in each one

1. Paint your nails with a base coat and then with green nail polish

2. Create the hair by outlining the sides of your nail (near the top) and making a few streaks on the top side

3. Make two white dots with white nail polish and add a black dot to each, to create the eyes

4. Paint a horizontal line with black nail polish and make 3 vertical lines on it (one at each side and one in the middle)

1. Paint your nails with white nail polish

2. Have fun with splattering red nail polish on top of it 😉

Ps: Use a thin brush or maybe a toothpick with the red because it tends to get messy when you use the regular brush

Be creative and try it! There are lots of pictures and videos available if you haven’t got any inspiration 🙂
